Role of Committees

1. The Board directs committee work through direct assignment to committees established to work on special project or standing committee.
2. Committees conduct the operational exploration of the work of the Board, make recommendations to the Board, and take responsibility for and are accountable to the Board to complete the committee's charge(s).
3. The Committees communicate with the Board through committee reports and requesting Board action when appropriate.
